Buda Khi was created by, Goodwill Games Martial Arts Gold Medalist and 3-Time World Cup Martial Arts Silver Medalist Lester J. Easley, coming from the Japanese term Budo Kai meaning martial way and school or association.
Buda Khi has been featured, mentioned or viewed on ESPNW network, CNN, Fox, ABC, CBS, NBC, Facebook, Myspace and in newpapers and magazines in the USA. Buda Khi is also used by professional and Olympic athletes.
Its focus takes place wherever the class wants to be for the next hour, different locations can vary from New York, to Cancun, L.A., or Jamaica.
The workout consists of anywhere from 500 to 1000 kicks and punches. Also included in the workout are ab work, push-ups, isometric, plyometric movements and stretches done to music in a one hour session. You also could burn anywhere from 500 to 1000 calories doing Buda Khi.
Motivation comes from the instructor and music; no classes are ever the same. There are over 650 different combinations you can only do 30 or 40 per class that's exciting!
We do kicks, blocks, strikes, punches, and squats that are the equivalent to running 5 miles in 30 minutes.
We close the workout with the lights dimmed slightly and some Tai Chi. We do this while we laugh a little and have a great deal of fun.
Our 5 diverse Buda Khi classes are
